Race Report by Niclas Nilsson
The second round of the South Swedish Indoor Series took place in Gothenburg at the small and technical Väst-8 track. Since this is my local track I know it very well and therefore setup was quite easy. I used the same setup for the whole race and the car was super fast already in the first practice.

I won all qualifiers and ended up in TQ position about 1,5 laps in front of 2nd qualifier, also XRAY driver, Björn Palsson. Third on the grid was Serpent driver Christopher Södergren.

I was able to secure the victory by winning the first two finals and was happy to take the victory at my home track. The car handled perfectly throughout the race and was very easy to drive yet fast.

The third round of the South Swedish Indoor Series was held in Malmö in the Southern parts of Sweden. The track is fast but very technical and difficult mostly because of the high curbs. I used again my basic setup which is the same one used by myself and team driver Alexander Hagberg at the IIC race in Las Vegas earlier this year. This setup seems to be working almost everywhere with small adjustments. The only thing that I changed was that I went from 1.1mm to 1.0mm pistons to make the damping slightly more heavy. This gave the car a bit more rotation in the hairpins and it seemed to carry more cornerspeed, being more free through the turns.

Qualifying was once again perfect for me as I could maintain TQ quite easy. Local Tamiya driver Thomas Andersson was 2nd and Björn Palsson again showed a strong performance, qualifying 3rd overall.

In the finals I was again fast and made no mistakes to take the overall win. Local driver Christian Holmström did a great job finishing 2nd from 4th on the grid. Björn Palsson was again unlucky and could not make full use of his qualifying position.

Round 4 of these series was held on the brand new track located in Växjö also in the southern parts of Sweden. This track was very small, technical and bumpy, demanding a lot from the car and the driver. My car proved to be really good in these conditions as well and in practice I only changed the ackerman slightly. The local youngster Markus Hellqvist was also quick with his XRAY T2'008 car.

Throughout qualifying I dominated once again in front of Thomas Andersson, Markus, Niclas Brunsberg and Björn Palsson.

The finals were quite uneventful for me but the other XRAY drivers were having really good fights for positions down the field and could have been more lucky. However the XRAY driver Niclas Brunsberg had a good race and could finish 3rd overall.
